My name is Savana Knauft, and I am a second year Agriculture Management student, born and raised farming in Alberta. With a background, education, and passion for agriculture I am running for Director of the Werkland School of Agriculture and Technology.

I feel deeply connected to the school due to my coursework, and extra curricular involvement and I want to help ensure students' are heard and represented within our school. I am running because I hear a lot of different opinions, ideas, and concerns from my peers, and I want to help bring those perspectives forward, turning student feedback into meaningful conversations and positive change within the college.

I believe my knowledge, connections, and willingness to listen can help strengthen communication between students and leadership while creating more opportunities for students to feel involved and connected within our school community. I would be a director who is approachable, willing to listen, and committed to following through. I want students to feel that they are genuinely represented at Olds College.
