I'm Easton Baltimore, a third year student at Olds College finishing a degree in applied science and business, and I'm running for Director at Large.

I haven't had a student leadership role before. What I do have is a record of taking on responsibility. At Richardson Pioneer in Three Hills, I wrote our site's safety audit and emergency response plan, including the yard and warehouse maps. It taught me to identify risks, do the homework, and put a clear plan in front of people who have to act on it. That's how I 'd approach the board.

I also create websites and advertisements part time for local businesses in Red Deer, so I know what it means to answer for money, deadlines, and clients. Like many students, I'm studying while working. So I know how much of student life comes down to logistics and cost.

Parking is my first priority, as it's been an issue I’ve been hearing about since my first year. The college runs it, so the board can 't simply change it, but it can bring evidence. I’ll create a survey for students to answer questions on a specific issue, take the results to college administration, and report back to the students. And I'd be happy to do the same for every issue brought to my attention.
