Hello, my name is Leila Reid, and I am from right here in Alberta! I am currently a second-year Ag

Management student, and will be returning next year for the applied degree. I am passionate about

academics and enhancing the overall student experience here at Olds College and I am running for VP

of Academics.

You may recognize me on campus: I currently hold the title as executive for two of the many fantastic

clubs here at the college, and I work at the campus coffee shop. My involvement in the school has

taught me many valuable lessons, which has given me a strong understanding of how our academic

system works and how important student voices are in shaping it. I truly value education and am

passionate about making the student experience the best it can be!

I’m approachable, supportive, and always ready to help. Whether you have questions about classes,

academic policies, or just need someone to advocate for you, I’ve got your back. My goal as VP of

Academics is to make academics feel less stressful, more accessible, and even a little more fun.

I’m here to listen, and work hard to make everyone’s academic experience as awesome as possible.
