Anna Dau
President
Hello all! My name is Anna Dau, and I am a third-year student in the Bachelor of Applied
Science Agribusiness degree. This year, I am running for re-election as President of the
Students’ Association of Olds College.
Over my past two terms as President, I’ve worked to create meaningful change and have
championed many initiatives that improve the student experience and community. Through
advocacy to both institutional leadership and the provincial government, I have championed
initiatives such as the Dining on Campus report, calls for mental health funding and food
security, and more. Using the skills and connections that I have built, I would like to continue to
explore solutions for dining on campus and other initiatives that are driven by the student voice.
This coming year, I would like to focus not only on continuing to represent you, but also on
improving processes within SAOC’s Executive Council. This allows us to better represent you,
your needs, and your initiatives, and allows for smoother transitions year over year. It makes us
a stronger voice and gives us the ability to focus on advocacy, not on administrative tasks.
Leadership is about vision, integrity, and results. A vote for me will get you all three. With a clear
plan and a commitment to the students I have the honour to serve, I’m ready to continue driving
positive change.
Together, we can build a stronger future. Let’s get to work!
