Hello everyone,

My name is Akshay Kumar, and I am studying Agriculture at Olds College. I am running for the position of Director-at-Large because I want to help make student life better and more enjoyable for everyone at our college.

I come from India and have experience in agriculture and community activities. I have always liked helping people, learning new things, and being part of a team. Coming to Olds College has given me the chance to meet students from many different places, and I want to make sure everyone feels welcome, respected, and included here.

If I am selected as Director-at-Large, I will:

• Listen to students and share their ideas and concerns with the student association.

• Help plan events and activities that bring students together.

• Support both international and local students in their college life.

• Always be friendly, respectful, and ready to help anyone who needs support.

My goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and succeed. I believe teamwork and understanding are important for building a strong college community. I will do my best to represent all students and make our college experience the best it can be.
